I haven't written much because I don't know that all of you who read this blog want to hear about horses, horses, horses! I am at the ranch working 4 to 5 days a week and learning to improve my riding on Billy Bob, the quarter horse I bought last week. He is gorgeous and talented and I am not really either one of these, but my riding is getting better. In addition to the things I wrote about in my last post, I am now being asked to treat a wound on, Roanie's leg where he got a bad cut and Sting's left front hoof where a stone bruise turned into a sterile abscess. I have gotten smoother at the trot with Billy and was determined to learn to lope. This week I did that, but after watching the video I can see lots of room for improvement.
No matter what you do with your days...we're interested! And what has Tom been up to?
