On the Move

Well we hope to be....on the move that is. Supposed to move this week. Every thing packed. Down to just what will be going in the RV for the trip to AZ. We had been told by the real estate powers that be that all was in order and on schedule. Then the phone rings Tuesday evening with a call from our realtor saying that the underwriters for the people that are buying the house in Salem that our buyer is selling (are you still with me?) is requiring an appraisal of another comparative property. Read that log home on pastured acerage and of course out of the area.... The short of it is another week until closing. Well we are chuckling about it now a few days later. So here we sit amid our boxes with the TV, a couch, a bed, and the dishes from the RV being used for dinner each night to serve microwave food.

A recent note from my daughter read: Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass. It is about learning to dance in the rain....(thunder, lightening, snow and wind here recently)

Oh yes, and that does mean we will be leaving for AZ 7 days after the move.....
lightening, thunder, sandstorm, earthquake....
