On The Road Again

Yes we are on the road again and headed for Arizona. We finally closed on the house in Redmond and moved the day after Thanksgiving with the help of our son, Devon, son in law, Rich, and Tom's long time friend, Dave. Ten days later here we are heading south. You could call us crazy but, hey, we already know that we are certifiable.

We got a late start on Monday the 10th. Last minute errands and waiting for the shipment of the mini blinds for the house to arrive. We had hoped to get the blinds up before we left but no time. Our new place is in a gated community and we have several new neighbor/friends keeping an eye on the house so we won't worry.

We drove to Burns a little slower than normal because of snow on part of the road

. Here we are at the Burns RV Park. Ellen Hampton is in the next coach traveling with us. Woke up to the weather report - expected high of 10* to 18* and low of 0* to -10* wind chill factor of -27*  We will be moving right along to Winnamucca.

Gizzi is not at all happy. He shivers inside his sweater even with a sweatshirt underneath. He spends most of his time next to us zipped inside our coats.
