We took a few days to just get away from everything. We only went 40 miles from home but there were no hookups and no cell phone coverage so it was really quiet! Lots of reading, napping, walks by the Metolius River and talking together. Even though we live with a beautiful view of the mountains there is so much to do that we hardly ever take time to just sit and look at it.
We needed the break too because we have our last batch of family company coming this weekend. Tom's sister and husband, daughter and four grand kids will be here. They came over with two grand kids last year and had so much fun that they wanted to bring some more this year. They want to ride the little pony and also go in the pony cart on the paths I have here.
Our daughter,Kim, in Prineville just had a visit from Rich's parents and Rich and his dad built a wooden jungle gym in the back yard last weekend. I am sure all of the second cousins will be spending time there.
