Here are a couple of pics of Billy. This is the horse that Fran is trying out for me for the next week. He is the own son of Topsail Cody and was purchased by his present owner as a stallion for breeding when he was very young. Long story short they ran out of money for training him as a cutter and reiner and never showed him.
He could have produced valuable babies if he had had good showing scores. His dad was a champion. So, three years ago they had him gelded and trained as a finished riding horse. A year ago they bought another stallion and lost interest in Billy. This means that I might get him for a really good price. Fran will work him for a week to see how he comes back with his training and if his attitude is good and if he will be safe for me.
