Back At The Ranch

We had good traveling from Quail Run back to our little ranch in Central Oregon. We spent several days with Sharon's sister and husband, Sue and Darrell, in Danville, CA. We also spent a week in Portland, Oregon, visiting relatives and helping Tom's mother go through some of dad's things and take care of some of the paperwork that is involved in dealing with a death.
We arrived home last evening and found our home spic and span. The lady that was house sitting for us had even cleaned the carpets!!
Today Tom has been cleaning the outside of the rig and changing the overflow valve in the water heater. The valve had been leaking for the last few weeks. We drove the last leg of the trip home through slush over the Mt Hood pass so the rig was terribly dirty.
I spent the day shoveling and hauling horse poop from the corrals. Boy did I find that I was out of shape. I rode my horse Reba again and will be getting her ready for the summer's trail rides.
