I Spoke Too Soon!

I definitely spoke too soon about the arrival of beautiful weather. Monday arrived with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s. There has been a cold wind blowing the past two days and the low temps are suppose to last all week. Brrrrrrr. Winter is hanging on much too long. Those of you that stayed in Texas and other southern states had the right idea. We came back about a month early. It is good to be with my horses and my grand kids again, though.

Tom started work back at Pronghorn Resort today. He is working as a golf starter at the Nicholas course. They sent him home at noon because all of their tee times except one fellow canceled because of the cold wind. That person said that he had come to play golf and he was going to play no matter what. Hope that they don't find him standing frozen on one of the greens and mistake him for a flag!!
No working outside for me today. A nice cup of hot chocolate, a blanket and a good book are in order.
